So lebron shouldn't score in transition, he shouldn't take advantage of match ups instead he should jab step jab step jab step and take contested 18 footers
NOT THAT HE SHOULD .. HE SIMPLY DOESNT HAVE THE ABILITY

Well I dont really care about the "analytical jibberish"....My eye test tells me prime Bron would physically house Kobe. Plus he's a better playmaker. IDC about the opinion of Dudley and some of these other Kobe contemporaries. The war was already lost with most of these fools years ago...
Kobe already mentally and physically dismantled cats like Dudley. He took their will to win or achieve anything. Lebron on the other hand...kept his head down and persisted thru all obstacles.
Now he has surpassed Kobe and is on his way to positioning himself next to MJ. Something Kobe could never do. Forever the GOAT (and low-key Shaq's young boi
). I know this post may hurt a few of you Kobe stans....If you dont like it...bookmark it and refer back to it after the FINALS....View media item 11374
Of course he was
Why is this a thread ?
So it doesn't matter how good lebron may potentially play in this upcoming series I if his TEAM losses you'll rank him lower despite his individual dominance
I understand the Kobe love, but real talk Kobe had like two years when him and LeBron were equals and that was around the time they were making those puppet commercials...which were dope btw.
I can't see how someone 40 lbs heavier and taller is not a harder match up
This is because even with as fast and athletic as LeBron is his first step isn't great. If he gets even with a guy or can seal him it's over because he's so strong but against smaller guys he can't always just blow by them at will, especially with them giving him room to shoot. He has a tight handle but it's not as creative as smaller guys so while he can get around guys he's not an all time great one on one player. That said he's still really good at it. Also, Kobe was a midra get guy at core. He loved getting guys on the elbow because he was comfortable with that shot and could hit it all day. LeBron never mastered that shot. It's where DeRozan lives these daysThe other major reason LeBron doesn't get as much respect from his peers as Kobe is the fact he needs screens to get off. Kobe rarely used screens. He mostly attacked dudes one on one in isolation. LeBron needs pick n rolls to get off and he's also more passive and relies on his teammates to give him space to get into the paint. If LeBron ain't passing his game suffers cause defenses can collapse on his drives.
Kobe is the complete opposite. He can dominate regardless of the performance on his teammates. He also is not reliant on picks to score offensively. This is a major reason the players give him the respect he gets. Its alot harder to dominate the game without the help of screen and pick n rolls than it is to do so. Plus Kobe's overall skill level is much higher than LeBron's. LeBron is more physical freak while Kobe is a skilled assassin.
THE GOATS WOULD NEVER LOSE PLAYIN ON SUPERTEAMS .. PERIOD
Lakerstans before the Dwight Howard season began "Lakers are a super team going to win 73 games!"
Lakerstans after the Dwight Howard season ended "Lakers aren't a superteam nobody said they'd win 73 games".
