Because the media is always more than willing to give you time and opportunity to shyt on a Black person in authority. If the Cavs don't win the title this year, it'll be open season on Ty Lue, and if they do win the title, he'll get no credit at all. Doc has won a title, which usually makes you Telfon in this league (see: Rick Carlisle, Tomjanovich), but he gets openly shytted on like he's some mediocre coach. Hell, people try to give Thibodeau the credit for those teams over him.

We've seen white coaches fail CONSTANTLY and CONSISTENTLY, often with more talent than Doc, but you aren't going to have people giving somebody 15 minutes of time to shyt on Scott Brooks, but let it be Mark Jackson or Byron Scott or Doc Rivers, have at it. Hell, you'll get people still calling Mike D'Antoni a genius, but he's had more talent and opportunities than Doc has had and doesn't have a title to show for it.

What Dudley said about the Clippers complete lack of chemistry is pretty interesting, and evident, though.

in a black dominated game like nba there is very little place for whites so they keep hyping up white coaches like they are incredibly important to the championships.

mark was actually blackballed from the coaching, which is even worse, them rumors of him not getting along with that gay ass dude from the warriors ownership, or whatever it is, when mark said something like "I will pray for you" they fired him so quickly he never got another job. They were ignoring how the warriors team with him actually started showing great results beating the nuggets while them being the underdogs and winning two games against spurs in the series, in their first year of playoffs. But once they fired him at the time when warriors team figured out a lot of things to make them great now all of a sudden there is chatty patty talk how mark was actually holding them down......like making it to the 2nd round in 1st playoff year was underwhelming year

the thibbs talk how he was the main reason for that championship is another agenda. Thibbs hasnt done shyt in chicago (he better than hoiberg though), but he regarded as like a top 5 coach. He los miserably to the heat in 2011 and he ran derrick rose to the ground in 2012 when he was clearly having injury issues. What do you mean he didn't do shyt besides lose to the Lakers? He influenced modern NBA offenses with his coaching philosophies, he has several 55+ win seasons, a CoY award, his system propelled Harden and Nash to MVP candidates, he helps coach USA basketball dude is respected within the league.
