American legal system. Them crackers won't get a dime, any "earnings" wouldn't even cover court costs. It's not like they sustained any injuries. Nobody went to the hospital, nobody was arrested. Dudes not a big enough Star for the "victims" to do the morning show circuit.

Free publicity. Back in the 90's they'd have tabloids and people magazines that would show pictures of actors doing stupid shyt like this, it's just publicity. This isn't a scandal. This isn't a crime. This is simply american entertainment.

Do you know how easy it is to get a doctor to corroborate a concussion, damaged eye socket, momentary loss of cognitive skills due to head trauma, with financial incentives?

you don’t know if any injuries were sustained or if anyone went to the hospital, we see a skirmish with Jason lunging at these cacs and throwing hands.

DJ Vlad got $300K from Rick Ross for a punch in the face.

Jason Derulo is extremely successful contrary to popular belief. Aside from his success in music he found a second wave of fame with his TikTok videos with earnings estimated to be up to $75K per video. A provisional google search, albeit not reliable places his net work at north of $15M. This was not a good move by him, at the very least it could have been avoided, as annoying as those cacs were

I'm curious as to what your explanation of his corniness and moistness is and how it rerates to a valid reason for strangers hate on him.:unimpressed:
For hate is too strong of a word, don’t be so dramatic. More like annoying. I don’t like that soft music anyway, not just him, I generally find all these rnb cats annoying. :yeshrug:

People have waaaay too much energy. I'm lazy as fukk. Sometimes I can't even motivate myself to go to the fridge and grab a soda. I'll sit there thirsty and shyt for hours. Now imagine having the energy to throw hands cuz someone yelled something at you in the street...

I don't get it.

Just checked RIAA and he has about 22 gold and platinum songs.

Don't think I've heard one but he has a ton of hits:yeshrug:
That Whatchuuuu sayy song was the only one I knew. :pachaha: I'm sure I've heard others on the radio but just had no idea it was him. Or were some of those just writing credits

You say it's easy, I say it costs money.

It's going to cost them money to get a doctor to corroborate anything, then they'll have to have bills for tests, injuries, recovery, pain meds. They'll have to have receipts showing services rendered for psychological damages, counseling sessions, days missed of work. Then they'll have to hire a lawyer, subpoena the client, have a hearing, and schedule a court date....they'll have to do alllllllllll of that hoping that he will settle, just settle.

I never said he was unsuccessful or broke. As it stands now, he's not going to lose any gigs. What shows is he gonna get kicked off of? Which platforms are going to cease playing his hits due to pending legal charges? What sponsors or endorsements has he lost or will he lose?

None.

They hope he settles. Derulo can push the case, multiple times and they'll still have to keep paying the lawyers.

Then by the time that's done, they'll have paid more in lawyer fees than medical expenses and other bullshyt, and there's still no financial pushback for Derulo. So a win might net them 25k if that, and they'll still be in the red.

Meanwhile Derulo releases a song or a dance, does a cameo and makes that back and everything is good again.

Misdemeanor assault on his record can be expunged, if he pleads guilty, he'd likely go no contest or just not guilty. Anyway you slice it it's an L for the crackers and a :manny: for him.

Vlad sued for 4mill and only got 300k and he got jumped, iono if Ross even touched him.
