they probably thought kidd would have a seemless transition like mark jackson did in GSW. I thought that hiring was stupid at the time as well before the warriors did it cuz jackson had no experience either

But Mark Jackson was hired as Golden State head coach 7 years after his retirement. He worked as a NBA broadcast commentator and analyst during that time.


Kidd was hired a couple of months after playing in the 1st round of last year playoffs!!

GSW are good because they traded that bum Monte Ellis and made good draft picks and Stephen curry has been healthy

Don't forget the warriors were just a 6th seed last year who beat an overrated Nuggets team and now they are underachieving this year.

This all begin with Dwight Howard pretty much accepting that he would go to the Nets and then somehow opting in to the final year of his deal with the Magic....Then I click onto either the coli or sohh and I see the Nets have traded there number 1 pick or some shyt for Gerald Wallace. Fast forward 15 months later Jason kidd who just retired yesterday is the coach of the Nets. Just off GP.....Then they go out and trade for nikkas who used to get drunk and run trains on hoes with JKIDD to be the coach....

oh shyt I forgot about that trade nikkas were trynna ship my nikka Lopez off too We also fukked up by getting Joe Johnson and his bad ass contract. Nets have made bad decisions leading up to kidd. I think this summer they need to start from scratch and finally get some shyt resolved. We not gonna get anywhere if things are like they are now. We shoulda beat the bulls but we had bum ass reggie evans tanking games and Cj Watson bum ass at the PG.

C'mon man, he would have seen a lot more games than he would have as a player, had already had enough time to bury any sentimental(I could still be out there) feelings he might have had and just gain a different perspective on the game as a whole. Also would have been in a much better position to pick the brains of coaches and league execs. Separation from playing days is the key. J.Kidd was literally on the court talking shyt and tryna beat these nikka a year ago. He is their peer. The same shyt that Jackson can say to Steph or Klay and get a or is the same shyt that will get Kidd a or a from KG or Pierce or JET. Jackson has had time to step away and view the game outside of the prism of a player AND get that OG respect from current guys. Kidd would have been better served with a team of youngins.
