I don't usually quote you becuz you're stupid but how dare you talk about some muhfukkin' stanning when you were the one that went out of his way to say that Floyd's son may not have written that description of what went on that night he used his BM as a heavy bag.

so this is his way to get the shine back bomani took, last week?

fat/pathetic

most ironic thing is, everything he said could be applied to why he got FIRED from the undefeated...the latest in his long line of Ls.

No show this week??

We knew that from jump, but folks want to dog whistle that it's Kobe's fault.

The reports out there indicated that Kobe's contract was a compromise and he actually wanted more, he claimed he left money on the table so they could sign players, he just didn't leave nearly as much as some others.

I don't blame Kobe at all for getting his money but he had to know it wasn't a championship formula. The only way around it for the Lakers was to step on his toes by either demanding he take less or by reducing his role. I think both sides agreed to just ride it out.

The only criticism I have in all of that is for the fans who claim the Lakers should have given him a chance to win the last few seasons. That just wasn't an option.

No one forced you to watch the game or festivities. If you don't like a legend being celebrated, then there are a million other channels on tv with non-Kobe programming.

On your other point about Kobe causing the Lakers demise. Why do you care?

From your avi you seem to be a Spurs fan. If what you say is true, then shouldn't you like Kobe? He destroyed one of your biggest rivals. And why do you seem hell bent in trying to convince Lakers fans Kobe was bad to them? Unless you are a Lakers fan Kobe's contract shouldn't bother you. In fact you should celebrate it.

Your critcisms of Kobe make you look like a bytch ass hating nikka. Nothing "legitimate" about it.
You seem like one of these stans that just want to talk about the good stuff and put your head in the sand about everything else.

I actually kinda like the Lakers now that their bad years have burned off all the bandwagon fans.

And I'm free to opine on any team in the league.

You are partially blaming him. I understand you're in find a way to hate Kobe somehow schtick, but it's not his job to create a championship formula. And this he somehow twisted their arm innuendo.... :childplease:

Meh.
I think his fans celebrated his greatness just fine over 20 years of basketball.

Frankly I'm not a fan of this trend in sports of athletes announcing their retirement early in the year just so they can go on a 6 month fellatio tour.

It was a great night. But the price for that night was the last 3 or 4 years of the Lakers being awful. Historically awful as far as the Lakers franchise goes. So was it worth it? I don't think so. But the Lakers will get another lottery pick and things can improve fast in this league. So maybe it won't matter in 2 years.

I'm not trying to downplay how fun that night was, but Lakers fans can't act like everything good that happened in LA was because of Kobe and everything bad that happened was somebody else.

But that's just me.
:what: It was worth it because of the amount of money that Kobe Bryant generates. And they were bad for 4 years ,who cares? you just said yourself they have a couple lottery picks over that time. Other teams tank as well and nobody says shyt about it. And they weren't historically bad for 4 years also

Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki both took pay cuts to help build their team. They deserved the money also but they wanted to help their team. Neither of them have or had endorsements like Kobe to make up for the cut. I made it clear in my post where the money could of been spent... On better players. That trade veto occurred about 5 years ago right? So, during that 5 years there were no other players to acquire? Did that trade veto hold the Lakers back that much?

Paycuts are for suckers

Was it worth it is in reference to the fans. :what:

Are you glad the Lakers pocketed all this revenue at the expense of a horrible product on the court?

Was THAT worth it?

Let's say Kobe would have agreed to tak a pay cut in order to bring in another superstar, or star player. During the last 4 season who was available for them to bring in? Name the players. Lamarcus Aldridge?:mjlol: You winning a chip with Kobe and Aldridge and scrubs? Everyone knows that the goal is to land Durand and/or Westbrook which now they can try and do and now they have other pieces to go with it.

Even if Kobe agreed to take 15 mil instead of 30 mil, who does that extra 15 mil a year go to:ohhh:

:mjlol:

Kobe wasn't willing to leave money on the table and if the Lakers would have let him walk or did him dirty the organization would have alienated majority of lakers fans.

Any true fan knew they weren't winning a good god damn thing the last 4 seasons REGARDLESS

Edit: Aldridge is a bad example because even WITH Kobes 30 mil salary the Lakers still made a run at Aldridge and he chose no to play in La, maybe it was because of Kobes personality:yeshrug: who knows, but it didn't have anything to do with Kobes salary.

So name some other players:russ:

Wait, I forgot about David West and Kevin Love

Kobe, West, Love and scrubs :ehh:

:mjlol:

Quote me stanning Floyd, all I do is talk facts. Where's pictures of the victim. Chris Brown had pictures, the MMA guy had pictures, even Matt Hardy's pictures leak Where's the evidence is all I"m asking. Overrating Kobe is stanning, this nikka is the over celebrated, look at your avi.

With Kobe's contract, and the players the Lakers went after in free agency, who did the Lakers miss out on to build the team that they would have signed if Kobe did not sign for that much? Who did the Lakers have to pass on because of lack of available money?

I thought it was just both sides wanting Kobe to retire as a Laker. I think Kobe knew they weren't going to be legitimately contending even if he played for free and I think the Lakers planned that they could send him off and immediately be able to start over once he retired.

If we are talking about basketball, it would have been better for the Lakers if Kobe retired years ago but its not like they would have any more champuonships right now if he had.

But he chose to continue playing....that's a fault?
