after my first listen this morning shyt damn near blew me away.

Jay-Z is stil remarkably great. to be this good for this long is just.....and Jay Elec has a fine way with words.
production wise I loved it, it reminded me actually a lot of the well received Pitchfork type praised music from around 08-11.

I'm about to go in for a bath and soak it up (no pun intended) again before I go so overboard with the praise like that.

The only criticism I have is that it’s not mixed very well at all. Not sure what’s going on with Young Guru, but I’ve felt that way about the last few Hov albums also. The vocals are off and songs could sound so much better if the were mixed properly. The Flux Capacitor beat is actually super dope but sounds like a muffled mess because of the mix. Vocals needed to be louder.
