I'm tired of y'all giving passes to lyrically heavy based rappers for having poor tp mediocre production like it's impossible for both to be on point. Either that or let sample based production slide cuz it's a song you recognize and like getting chopped.

If this is the case the same needs to be said about people with no ability to rap but have superior production.

I'm glad Elec spoke on why he doesn't actively make music. He don't come out often, but when he does he never cheats you.

I don't see how any real nikka would have criticisms of this album. These 10 tracks have more substance and pure poetry than anything that's come out in forever. The things this man says is beautiful.

That's damn near his signature style, obscure loops with no drums and it fits the artists perfectly. Only on the coli do you produce for Hov, Jay Elec and be washed

fukk it, after 3 listens this is easily my album of the year I highly highly doubt I’ll hear this level of lyricism again this year mainstream or underground.

I see a lot of criticism about the production. It ain’t ‘bumps in the whip’ levels of production but I think it’s suitable for the kind of album they were going for.

The last time I listened to an album and felt it was a classic the same day was TPAB, this album is giving me that vibe . Funny enough the album reminds me a lot of TPAB along with 4:44 and black on both sides in terms of the pro blackness

Just finished. I like the album man. Two elite lyricists trading bars. Album definitely didn’t disappoint there.

I feel the production could’ve been better but I guess they wanted the bars to stand out. Mostly self produced so this was Jay Elects vision.

Mixing not good enough but it seems like a lot of projects are like that nowadays.

I’ll be bumping this for the foreseeable future though the bars are refreshing.

Hov lines about the nfl and not selling out was weak tho
