And in terms of substantive content K-Rino probably has the most and covers the most topics in Hip Hop history so that's true but not a standard I judge everybody by. Depends on the objective and intent.
I don't think this album is among the most content filled albums in Hip Hop history or anything like that but it does have content and I judge it for what it is.
For being as concise as it is I do consider it well balanced, there's only 9 tracks vocalled and quite a lot is referenced or spoken about that has substance within those 9 tracks.
But what draws me to the album isn't primarily the content, I enjoy that, but it's the mix, the content, the craftmanship of the lyrics, the beats and the emotion.
It's an album I've been able to play a lot and because of the way it's constructed I know to me it won't lose value to me. Because themes such as A.P.I.D.T.A are timeless to me, again it's not just about the content, it's about loss which many have covered, but the way it's been done is very effective and hits home for a lot of people deeply who have experienced it. I've seen countless listeners say how much that song that's effected them that have experienced loss and grief and for me that's 1 of the main things music is about, touching the people. The way that was done really felt was potent and it's certainly succeeded in that goal of hitting people just the way they wanted.
I felt great listening to the album, empowered, positive, hopeful and in great spirits, even during a difficult time in the world. So I enjoyed it for a multitude of reasons.
