It's not idiotic. Just because you're in a successful group doesn't mean you'll be successful solo. Backstreet Boys and N-Sync were selling 20 million albums a piece. I'm not saying you were lying, I was just saying it seemed like incorrect information. And I don't really see how we would measure the success of a track specifically produced for a soundtrack, but it is what it is. I can guarantee the record label wasn't worried about not recouping by dropping a solo Beyonce album.
