Isn't it possible that both of them are extremely relevant and popular on their own and they don't really NEED eachother in that capacity?
The problem is that they're both so popular that when they help each other we really don't know who benefited more out of the exchange. I remember seeing an interview with her saying that Jay helps ALOT with the studio process and has introduced her to producers and writers that she did not know or work with before him. You can hear it in the music
I think her tour this year is called "Mrs Carter" or somthing along those lines. This is a good example, because its kind of unclear on whether or not she's using his name to promote herself being that she hasn't released any music since "4" and Jay has been making headlines for this new album and the samsung deal and the sports agent thing OR is she using his name because its further good press for Jay-Z?
