I don't like MCHG, but after recently re-listening to it, it's not awful. Very low on the Hov totem pole, but there are songs that work throughout the project.

But obviously I'm hoping that if this is real that it's much much better.

Hov gonna take the sales L just to help Tidal? We'll see. I'd imagine Rihanna and others would be looking at him funny if he allowed other streaming sites access to it during the first weeks, given that they loyally stuck to exclusive Tidal deals.

This will be Tidal only like Lemonade and I doubt we get any sales numbers on this album same with Lemonade.

I really don't want this album.I know a lot of people don't like MCHG but I think its an average although forgettable album but I think its the best Jay can do in this era while not trying to run to new producers (Mike Will, Metro, etc) and use current hot flows.

Im telling y'all Hov should stick to features.

I want to care about this but I don't. I just don't get hype for Hov songs or albums anymore. I don't think I've checked for anything he's done since MCHG which was terrible outside of Heaven and Nickels and Dimes

Man, Hov is my/the GOAT. And MCHG is listenable all the way through. It's a passable album for 85% of artists but when you've put out the kinda stuff he has and is capable of, I see why people poo-poo it.

I like the album. But that's just me. I'm objective enough to know it's not good in the grand scheme of things and I'll never try and talk anyone else into liking it, but I can put it on let it play through once in a while.
