They see me trolling, they hating.....
Real shyt...Those who didnt go thru the high school wars back then dont understand how deep that rivalry is... It was bigger than just music.

yup, I was a huge Nas fan in highschool. I hung out with the car crew (the first nikka who gets a car and has his friends in it all the time) and my nikkas used to blast Takeover singing them lyrics directly to me during the Nas diss parts while I'm in the backseat with the :stopitslime: face the whole song.

When Ether dropped I was :russ: ing tho

Just because Nas and Jay are two of the greatest rappers of all-time, it doesn't mean they should do an album together. That seems like a forced concept because their styles don't mesh very well.

Nas & Common/black thought/any wu-tang member >> Nas & Jay
Jay & eminem/jadakiss/Ti >> Nas & Jay

fukk it, solo albums are usually much better than collaborative albums.

I agree but if Jay Z were to rap on a Nas collabo album the same way he diid on Jay Electronica's "Shiny Suit Theory" then I could definitely see it being a great/classic album.

That verse was the best verse I've heard Jay spit in years, better than any verse on BPIII and Watch the throne. First time I heard it I was like damn, I could picture Nas spitting the same exact verse. Jay Z can be profound when he chooses to be, he just doesn't choose to go that route for whatever reason tho
