of course Jay could sell out stadiums. This a stupid argument with plenty of goalpost moving.

2008 btw.

People that stay popping and release content consistently have a leg up.

People who are younger in general also have a leg up.

Hov fans aint gone nowhere. If he announced a giant tour we would just wanna see it. Its like when legacy act go back on tour after a long time...like Sade. You never know when the next time gonna be so you gotta see it. A full on tour of stadiums might be far fetched but a limited run of them in certain markets for like a special Book Of Hov or Anniversary/Legacy thing...it's all how you market it. If it was something Jay set out to accomplish he could do it. He would probably need an album of some sort with it though.

Luke fukking combs is doing a stadium tour. Sold out two days in Charlotte.:mjlol:

Of course Jay can sell out stadiums. End of the day it comes down to how many cacs want to see you. :francis:

Are you really comparing a 33 year old cac only three albums deep, biggest country act out right now from what I can read, with family friendly lyrics?

I still think you need to be a younger relevant act. The Drakes who are still in 30s, still releasing lots, still popping with the youth. You cant rely on old heads to sell out a stadium as a solo act. That's foolish.

Not in hip hop bruh... Jay aint selling 70,000 tickets in 2023, hell not even in 2003.

The 4:44 Arena tour in 2016 was struggling in a lot of cities.

Bomani admitted early in that interview he used to be heavy into nyc hiphop then in college he bet a bunch of NY dudes he thought he could relate to through music and they told him to kick rocks and since then he’s been millitantly anti nyc hiphop
I use to listen to his shows he had in the morning. Show was dope but he definitely kept NY dikk in his mouth all while riding Big Krit dikk.

This response tells me all I need to know. Somehow him doing only 12 cities with four acts with huge acts like the Avett brothers counts, but in the case of Jay Z he has to be the only act and not in select cities?

Sorry, a four act tour with Jay Z as the headliner would absolutely work.

And sorry, younger acts don't have a leg up considering the majority of stadium tours are legacy acts in the last year.

If you want to mention legacy acts, it needs to be addressed that they are cac acts and them being the majority race in America plays a huge part. If the roles were reversed some legends of Hip-Hop like Wu, Nas, could easily do what Metallica and Eagles do. I think Jay can pull off Metlife but that's it. He ain't doing SoFi.

Great discussion amongst the 3 of them. We need more content like this. Disagreeing without yelling or attacking. Informed and intelligent but still fun and funny.
Lol. This is a dumb discussion.

Who cares if a damn billionaire can’t sell out a stadium 😕

We don’t need more of this content.

I always knew Jay wouldn’t be able to sellout a stadium other than the Yankee stadium. But I still think he would have to bring someone and wouldn’t be able to do it dolo. Every where else in America he ain’t selling out no damn stadium by himself.
