Just one more thing... Can even take it by Decade:

Best rapper of 90's? - Biggie / Pac (Flip a coin)
Best rapper of 2000's? - Eminem / Lil Wayne (with the run wayne had from 2007 - 2010, can damn never flip a coin)

The "Goat" don't got no decade?:troll:

...Things should be falling in place for any doubters of this thread now..... It's ok to admit you were wrong

Your logic is mind-boggling, how the hell can you split the decade between Eminem and Wayne when in Wayne run of 2007 to 2010 he only had one 3x plat album (which is sad considering 1 mill was sold in a week) and two gold bricks? The fact is that Wayne has ridden coattails for the last decade, jumping on everything, and with that insane amount of song hopping how could he not have all those chart appearances? Another strange fact is that if it isn't called "The Carter", people don't give a fuk. Every album Wayne has dropped in the last decade that isn't a "Carter" is only Gold, does that not speak volumes to you?
Jay sold 20 million in just about the same amount of albums as Wayne who only sold 7 million in the same decade, yet you rank Wayne higher? It makes no sense, then again you'll probably ignore these facts as you did my post correcting you on Wayne having more chart appearances then Elvis, you're simply incorrigible.

heres a great analogy

I can't get over how overrated that 12 #1 albums shyt is... when he only had the best selling album for the year once (kingdome come, critically his worst allbum)

That shyt is like bragging about being player of the Week 12 times, when you got 1 MVP in 20 years and that 1 year the 5 best players in the league were hurt (nothing but lower level artists released albums that year)

jays entire argument for being the "goat" based on sales :lolbron:

12 #1 albums.. he never talks about the quality just that he sold the most 1st week 12 times

On Tom Ford: "check the score board"

*checks score board*

"Dam, Jay is losing in every major category that matters...."

*Makes thread*

this thread should be stickied @TEKBEATZ

Bro.... On my life.. Jay has done a MAGNIFICENT JOB creating this FACADE that he is the goat..

On the Black Album, the nikka damn near cried and begged ppl to acknowledge him as the goat... he seemed pretty shakin up on What more can I say..

Did Jordan ever have to BEG people to acknowledge him as the Goat?:lolbron::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan:

TO THIS DAY, Jordan says: "don't call me GOAT, its disrespectul to Bill russell and the guys that came before me"

But, MJ, STFU.... you are the goat, and 95% of humanity are going to say that no matter what...

So, how is Jay Mike Jordan of this Mic recording when he LITERALLY had to beg for the crown:russ::russ::russ:

This thread is Jay-Z Fanboy Burial.....

1996 - Jay-Z a nobody
1997 - Jay still a nobody in comparison to Puff / Big / Wutang / Mase
1998 - Biggie is dead, and Jay-Z EXPLODES on the scene thanks to an ode from Annie

Jay-Z says himself in breakfast club interview, he told bleek / beans they better DROP MUSIC NOW, because once 50 comes out, they won't be able to drop nothing for a while...

These are the words that came out of this mans mouth.

So how are people wrong for saying if Big / Pac was alive, he wouldn't be shyt?

He proved he wasn't a part of their class due to the numbers he moved while they were here. And when they died, they cleared space for em. It all makes sense now. #think

Pac / Big dying killed 2 birds with 1 stone for Jay:

1) He didn't have Pac dissing him no more (which Pac was going to do... 50 proved you can ruin someones buzz with beef)
2) Biggie, someone who raps about the same shyt he raps about, and BETTER at it, was gone out of the way..

Think about that shyt.... Thats 2 major road blocks to his accension knocked off. X was grimey rapper, not in Jay-Z space. Juvenile down south, not in Jay space. Lauryn hill on her backpack shyt...

Jay had no more real competition in 1998, and made his move.

Now he got the nerve to say "im supposed to be number 1 on everybody list" :deadrose:

Jay z wasnt even the biggest selling rapper on def jam in 1998

DMX
In February 1998, DMX released his debut major-label single, "Get at Me Dog", on Def Jam Recordings. The single was certified Gold by the RIAA. His first major-label album, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot, which included the single "Ruff Ryders Anthem", was released in May 1998. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S and sold over five million copies.

Later that year in December, DMX released his second album, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, where it remained for three consecutive weeks. Within one week of the album's release, 670,000 units were shipped.[citation needed] It was eventually certified Platinum four times. As a result, DMX was the second rapper in history (following Tupac Shakur) to have released two albums in the same year, which both debuted at number one on Billboard 200.[3]

These nikkas constantly pointing to 98... I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Lauryn hill AND DMX outsold him that year.... BOTH OF THEIR ALBUMS were critically acclaimed classics, all time hiphop classics in the vein of doggystyle, get rich etc...

Can't argue with fools though
