this was my first time seeing it...wasn’t aware of the clip until I read the segment in your post

I agree w/ you...we 1000% know why goodell and the owners are partnering w/ jay...and jay is no fool so I imagine he knows why they’ve teamed up w/ him too as far as optics go...but I’m wonder if it’s just a $$$ play for him @ the end of the day or does he honestly think he can affect change as far as the culture of the NFL/owners go?

It’s really hard to tell since I think the NFL is still on damage control mode. Them teaming with Jay benefits them really. He’s probably using them as well for their entertainment resources but he didn’t need them. That’s what confuses me. And everybody can see the NFL trying to ride the social injustice wave since To make themselves look morally right. But their players suffer from CTE when they retire. And they really don’t talk about that.

What is approach and what do u want him to do?

I think the approach he has taken for the past few years is generally decent. However, while paying legal fees for select individuals brought to his attention is a noble act, it mainly only helps those individuals. Thus, him trying to use that as an example of his efforts towards social change misses the mark with me.

To be fair, he HAS been involved in criminal justice reform, which is more along the lines of what I feel he should be using as his defense. That's great, and he should continue doing so.

HOWEVER, me primary issue is that he has proven he can do all this without the NFL's help. And what complicates things even more is that he chooses to team up with them despite the league ever defending their players when Trump called them sons of bytches. That's totally counterproductive to everything Jay has every shown us he believes in. I am still failing to see how any of the causes Jay cares about are helped by this partnership.
