You can't put Jigga above any of those Mc's : Nas, Pac, BIG, Face and Cube.
Sure you can.
You just can't put him above :pdahellclean:

Jay isn't in my top 25, he'll prob not my top 50 tbh. The only album of his I can hear front to back is RD, even then I'll skip 1 or 2. His discography is garbage and easily the most overrated in hip hop. 75% of his album cuts are filler, and even more so as his career went on. He was unlistenable after the Black Album. Probably put out the worst double album of all time.

Jay was known for making pop singles with the current "it" producer at the time, riding whatever wave was hot. And good for him, he was good at that.

If you got Jay in your top 5, you either: haven't listened to enough hip hop
Aren't old enough and weren't around in the 80's 90's
Or you're from BK.

That's it.

you stan the fukking guy and made a thread about him and now this

you bipolar crazy motherfukker lol @Murkman I told you about this guy

I would say a lot on Hov's cons, but really the main one is this nikka would've been one had he lost that trial for stabbing that dude who wanted him killed. Yeah some of Kingdom Come, half of BP 3 is bad, MCHG is ass outside of 4 songs, yadda yadda who gives a fukk, nikka ain't perfect and I never said he was.

Coli ain't excited about Scarface and Cube dropping new shyt, Nas is just nostalgia and those other 2 nikkas let them rest in PEACE for fukk sake, respect the living.

Cube I accept doesn't have the longevity and longstanding-ness of HOV. I know that. But Cube's prime run is unmatched by any solo artist and will never be matched ever again. The only thing close was Wu-Tang as a collective in a shorter time frame.

HOV is the only one in that typical "GOAT" group that people still look out for I'll give you that. But as I said countless times for me personally, discography is where it's at...and as such I reward lesser credited GOAT artists like Common and Redman who are models of consistency and excellence.

BUT that being said, HOV is the kind of artist who will make my top 5 and make the less discography-oriented top 5's showing that he truly belongs in the GOAT convo if not top of the list no matter how you cut it.

murkman just mentioned too much irrelevant bullshyt to take that post seriously.
.

nikka I mentioned EVERYTHING you half-witted forgetful ass users consider legitimate criteria for GOAT arguments, I didn't even bother going into sales, hits, this is strictly RAP as an art form.

Where is your arguments nikka? Since you have "rhyme" in your name, you denying like Hov don't have more impressive rhyme schemes than those 4?

Scarface and Cube basic as Legos, Biggie stuck that same style for 2 albums, Nas took 3 albums to demonstrate interesting variation in rhyme schemes. nikka still rhymes like it's "Illmatic" and it's 2017.....

Agreed and before the Coli Stan's come and try to discredit what I said, Nas has an identity crisis and these nikkas runner-up groupies behind that Animorph Negrus Succubus, Kimmie Smalls for how emotionally attached they are to OPAN's ("Overrated Phat Ass nikkas"), acting like Pun, KGR, etc weren't Top 10 either.

These nikkas don't sound like Hip-Hop Heads, more like "Hipster Heads" struggling to retain your Blackness, but go Eminem levels of CAC stanning and shyt. I don't give a fukk because, these users don't even have consistent opinions, change more than Octomom's period.

I wouldn't call Redman a model of consistency:ld:, but the rest is spot on

Of course Redman has some really underrated albums. He just set the bar high for himself with that classic triple threat:whew:
