racial segregation was more damaging than steroids? you dont say?![]()
It always gets ugly for people when to try to justify why the racist stuff they said isn't racist. They would be better off ignoring it.

Go easy on P. Remember Jay on that recent breakfast club interview, talking about running over the hill taking the arrows. Master P did that, he took the arrows first. Jay learned from that.
Jay still might not succeed, but it is still another step forward..
if jay-z was really bucking the establishment, he wouldn't be met with such open arms by a lot of the media. instead, the media would either brush him off or try to ignore em, like they did with master p. white folks know jay aint about smashing any establishments. that's why they f*ck wit dude like they do.
I don't even follow the sports agent game, and even I know that hes in bed with some powerful white folks on this, and is probably just a runner.
sounds like a similar scenario to people thinking that he owns the nets AND the bar-clay center, when he really just owned less than 1% of the team.
Maybe....but even the THREAT of Camel shaking up the establishment has some of these cacs
As long as he doesn't c00n it, I'm riding for camel on this one. We need more control/representation in these billion dollar industries we provide the "labor" for.
how come anytime a thread like this is made there's a handful of people running in here going "Jay aint really doing nothing..."
I mean that's besides the point...the point is about the racist reaction towards a black man stepping into the sports agency arena
whether or not he is or isn't making the moves...the fact that he's put himself in that arena has cause some clearly racist reaction
but instead of discussing that fact...it turns into "Jay aint really nothing..."...did this dude personally hurt you guys in some way?![]()

the "jay aint really doing nothing" is in response to people acting as if hes planting some sort of black flag.
you cant just make big claims over some suspect chit and not expect to be called out on it.
i really wanna know more about jays involvement in this agent company stuff
if he owns it, fine but i dont know what to think of it right now
i know he got cano
once again...that has NOTHING to do with the racist reaction.
if someone looks up to Jay and thinks he's making big moves and it makes him believe that a black man can get into positions of power and gives him motivation or belief...then what's the problem with that?...so what if it's not "real"?...just the fact that he's presented that way is positive to an extent whether fabrication or not
saying otherwise is just you being negative towards him and wanting to show he's not as successful as he claims...who gives a fukk if he's THAT successful...he's clearly successful to some extent...he's clearly playing some role...and whether or not he's "shaking up the establishment"...he's clearly made the establishment nervous enough to write articles about him and negatively react to him
The backlash from a radio personality like Mike Silva who tweeted, "Jay-Z has to realize this isn't the ghetto where you hold up owners with a gun to get what you want"![]()
so to sum it up, you knowingly have a problem with people pointing out fabrication?
mass media is praising jay-z. that alone makes this roc nation situation look like its not what its being made out to be. and jay has a long track record of shameful stuff like that. he deserves to be called out.
who cares about a few random sports personalities that even die-hard sports fans have never heard of? no matter how much white ass jay kisses, hes still black so theres always gonna be some backlash in things like this. but trust, hes not catching any real heat or breaking down any real barriers. nowhere near.
if all you were able to discern from my post is that I have no problem with fabrication then you clearly were just looking for an argument...I said that in this instance I think the fabrication isn't a big deal because I think there's more positives to him being seen like this than negatives
but you just decided to ignore that and make a generalization because you have a clear agenda and want to argue.
as for the second part...I've yet to see mass media "praise" this...they've reported it...they've talked about it...but "praise" it?...come on...as for the backlash...he's getting some...and he is catching some real heat...organizations have shown a problem with him...there have been rule changes...there have been allegations towards him...but you want to ignore those and pump up just the things that support your agenda
but hey...keep...your agenda from your posts is pretty damn clear
