Back in MIA
Nas fans who are still butt hurt and nikkas under 28 are going to call Jay-Z overrated.

Everyone else recognizes the God MC. :wow:

jay is miles a head of ghost and prodigy, stop it. No member of the Wu is better than jay. RD has far more depth then u giving it.

.

:pachaha: ghost is 100 times more consistent than jay. both of them dropped duds but ghost is waaaaayyyy more consistent (one of jays duds is a whole fukking double lp)....hes one of the most consistent artists in the game (Jay is NOT)

im not a wu tang dikksucker (especially since rza turned c00n, and then after he turned c00n, he sold out his group for bread) but ill be gat damned if you tell me jay is as consistent as ghost, or even got a better album than cuban linx, ironman, or liquid swords.

it just isnt true :yeshrug:

How Sway? Critical and commercial success, influence and impact, longevity, respect, battles, classics, skillset. Nas has it all to be in the G.O.A.T. conversation.

This thread is some bullshyt... :scusthov:
He lacks the hits.

His highest charting song is 'I Can'

"Would you rather be underpaid or overrated, moral victories is for minor league coaches"

I guess jay lost the coli moral victories.

Is a lot of dope MCs recognised by the intranets, meanwhile the most overrated Mc is the biggest wiinner in the history of hip hop. PAC and big are dead, didn't even get a chance to enjoy their success, kelis was nas biggest ether, meanwhile jay progressed into a father figure for hip hop, gsrnering respect, sitting on half a billii, owning businesses, wife'd a loyal chick with her own money, and is top 5 by most unbiased nikkaz, aka Internet warriors.

Thank you hov for showing the next generation how to truly win :salute:

Jay Z is the 2nd GOAT after Pac , his influence is much larger than Nas' funny cuz "name a rapper I ain't influence" . Jeezy, Wayne, T.I., Kanye, 50, Ross are Jay's sons... There's a reason Nas said hip hop was dead he was mad 50 & Wayne was dissing Jay on "I want ur top spot" while 50 was just disrespecting his ass:mjlol: Mad that TIP and Jeezy was talking about how Jay influenced them while Jeezy was asking him does he bust his guns:mjlol: Jay and Big are the reason for the braggadocious rap is so big:yeshrug:

Jay Z top 10 to me, arguably top 5. I don't think he's overrated because he's exhibited enough true greatness to be considered great and 1 of the best.

I don't believe he's the GOAT, Pac, KRS, K-Rino and Nas comfortably better to me, but after that it gets closer because Jay has numerous classic songs and to me 2 classic albums.

At times cause Jay Z last shyt was wack I think some overlook the great work he's done. The other side to me personally he's not near being THE Goat, he's missing some elements but he has mad skill, is a dope writer, made great songs and classic albums. Sometimes hearing him rhyme at his best is an honour, for what he's done he has my respect and appreciation, I still wish he comes back and delivers some better music, even now he can do a lot better than MCHG.
