Blueprint and RD his only classics, in my book. Think the top four is right, though I'd switch it around a little. Vol. 1 would be fifth with Dynasty, AG (this didn't hit for me like it did most everyone else), Vol. 3 and BP2 following.

MC, BP3 and KC, bottom of the barrel. 444 is just above them. So...

1.) Blueprint
2.) RD
3.) Vol. 2
4.) Black Album
5.) Vol. 1
6.) Dynasty
7.) AG
8.) Vol. 3
9.) BP2
10.) 444
11-13.) MC, BP3 & KC <------- order doesn't even matter

American Gangster has more claims to classic than Vol 2 in my opinion. I know its the album that made Jay a super star but AG is beautiful all the way through

AG is damn near flawless! Listened to Hov discography last week and started a debate in my group chat. It’s a top 5 Hov album for sure. Diddy laced Hov with the production and lyrically Hov was better on there than he was on blueprint imo

Son too critical of Vol. I

Has some of his best work

Sunshine ain’t that bad and it don’t knock it down that much

Jay the only rapper ever to get a pass on an album with a lot of filler that others would get killed for. Speaking on volume 1 and BP3 specifically. Yes volume 1 has some all time great Jay tracks but it has some of the worst Jay tracks in his discography. I think he placed it properly in his rankings.
