People that write simp songs are likely to have a very strong understanding of the female mind and as a result are probably very pimp-like in the sense they are smart enough to use their music to sell a dream

The people behind Drake songs as well

When he put out that song that had girls in the club singing along about they shouldn't have to "fukk for free" . . he took a pimp concept and delivered it in a way that girls could sing along to and personalize. He's talking about himself but they connect with the vibe and have their hands in the air singing along to the lyrics The song would've been great for Rihanna because it encroaches on her territory and the agenda of her brand but it would be too blatant coming from her

"Why don't she, why won't she
One day she's going to see
she got me lonely
. . . .Those are words you never hear from us" - Mac Dre :beezy:

Many years later Too Short came with a verse that seemed directly influenced by this

"What's up baby? . . I love you
I'm always thinking of you
I never want another
You'll be my only love
. . fukk that shyt"

Mastery of pimping surely understands an innate understanding of what a simp is
