First time I heard this was on the radio when i was laid up with a chick in like 11th grade.

Swear to God I stopped everything when I heard Jay say "theme song to the Sopranos...". DJ brought the beat back like 1100 times so I had no idea whose song it was.

What a time.

Also, Beans really stole the show on this. Outside of the intro, he has the best verses on the album.

Also add Stick 2 The Script, Change The Game and Guilty Until Proven Innocent (tho granted both those songs sound dated now but were fire in real time).

There were also a few Dynasty era tracks that didn't make the cut....

Early This Morning, which samples the actual Intro....felt it would have fit in on the album as well. There were a few other tracks he recorded around the same time as he was making Dynasty that could have fit in and added to the album as well.

I thought that was from the post Blueprint sessions? Because I remember that, Addicted To The Game, and the original version of Show You How To Do This Son with the vocals of the chick bagging up at the end, came out at the same time (Spring/Summer of 02)

I was just becoming a huge Jay Z fan and I loved Vol 2 and 3, so when I went an bought this the day it came out I was extremely disappointed in this album besides the Intro. Over the years, it has grown on me quite a bit. The lows are quite low but the highs are something special.

Appreciate the correction. I had read different someplace. I suppose it does make sense post Blueprint. Cant imagine it was made early enough to be included on the Blueprint (considering the era the sample came from).

Another verse and a proper mix, and that track could have been a standout on anything that followed Blueprint.
