That's the misconception. Ever listened to The Lost Tapes? That was recorded around 98-99, Nastradamus time. Nas was supposed to put out a double album, but it got heavily bootlegged. So it was scrapped and rushed, and out came Nastradamus. The Lost Tape songs was supposed to be on that double album, so his lyrics were still piff in that 98-99 period. Nas the GOAT
