But it's literally the 444 tour
I'm sure he's gonna do some other shyt, but im not tryna see him perform do it again live in 2017.
Bulk of this is gonna be lounge music
actually it's not....i saw the show, and while he does a good amount of cuts from the album: kill jay z, oj, 444, family feud (which sounds amazing and the best outta the new songs live), bam, moonlight, blu ivy verse, and 1 verse from smile...those only take like 20-30 mins, and the show goes for an hour and a half....meaning the other hour is all hits and album cuts from other albums...
as for the topic of the thread: i saw the show and it's fukking great, jay kills it....the man has hits upon hits that just knock live and you never get tired of.....also, he sprinkles in album cuts and rare shyt....ex: he did where i'm from, d'evils, and the pump it up freestyle verse over 'hovi baby' being played by the band live, just oh my damn.....also, the stage setup is nice as shyt....it's a rising/lowering platform in the middle of the arena, with 4 large double sided V shaped screens that hang above the stage...in between where the screens hang are lights, and all the shyt opens/closes like a prism throughout the show.....to start it off, the stage is raised and the screens are together 'hiding' him....
as for seats: the floor was sold out, and the majority of the arena was packed...i had a great fukking seat...5 rows from the floor, middle aisle, right next to the stage....cost $220 and was worth every penny...only negative about it was it was so far from the bar lol....
if you a jay and/or rap fan, i'd highly recommend going to the show...it's fukking great....and like always, he puts on a hell of a show...that's why i laughed at the thread with people talking about he's not a good performer....anyway, yea, def check it out if you can....
side note: the show proves how beat battles with big named producers (swizz, just, timbo, ye, neptunes/pharrell) would just become the jay show lol....i think people forget sometimes how many bangers he has with them....at this show, he just keeps going dropping bangers from them....
other side note: jay and ye might be the best duo ever....the songs he does that features both of them, just damn...and it really makes me want a watch the throne 2 album and more songs from them.....
