Lmao, are you gonna answer about the poll on here where Nas beat Jay and Jay had like 20 something percent? You can't have it both ways. Those who have heard K-Rino certainly regard him as a top lyricist, infact in the top 20 GOAT list K-Rino was mentioned several times and people like Scarface, Z-Ro, Premier and many others rate him extremely highly.

Rino is dope to me but he has a bit of Canibus syndrome, they're very similar IMO but K Rino is better at making normal songs & storytelling etc.

Yeah conceptually I've seen K-Rino do many many things Canibus hasn't done, with all respect to Bis, as I am a big Canibus fan, but just off the top of the head songs like Amnesia, The Debate, Talking To Me, Alien Baby and numerous others. I see the comparison in regards to high and diverse and uncommon vocabulary usage, and intelligent bars but as an artist K has probably done a lot more flows, a few more styles, much more content wise, K has a huge range of emotional songs, socially and politically conscious ones. Bis sometimes delves but K-Rino has a huge catalogue of these type of songs, K's body of work is so huge you could make albums of just emotional songs, just concept songs, just lyrical songs, just storytelling songs, just style songs, just features, just anything. So while I understand the comparison in a few senses overall I feel K has many more layers, and that's no diss to Canibus at all, as I like Bis and always have, and he's dope, but K-Rino obviously been droppin material since the 80's so he's got a gargantuan body of work by now.

Can't really compare the two. One is a commercial package the other is pure hip-hop.

Using the new standard Jay will win because his albums are more commercially appealing.

The old standard KRS will win. I can't see Jay holding his own against KRS-ONE in a live show, just too imposing. Plus there are a lot of old school rules that I don't even want to get into right now.

KRS is definitely the definition of Hip Hop, encompasses it, is walking Hip Hop. Yeah Jay will win because most people on here aren't up on KRS material so they are blind voting. If it was who has genuinely heard all the material from both KRS would be winning easily. In a show Jay can't fukk with KRS though Jay has improved from when he started out, and has a pretty good show overall but KRS shows are incredible. They are the type of things that can leave a life lasting impact.

Trust me I could have went in and shut this thread down along time ago but there is no point wasting my time.

I already know the standard these "hip-hop heads" use. They listen to 30sec clip of KRS's albums from the 80's and early 90's and say "I like jays music better". Well yeah, Jay is going to give you a more polished album, because KRS was making music on a 20sec sampler, probably still is. But what about Battling, Live shows, Mic presence, Not biting etc? This new standard is just basically who's more commercial.

I will give Jay the nod on flow. He can pull off any type of flow, but last I heard he jacked 2 chainz flow. :mjlol:

This dumb ass mark... anyone who voted against you isnt up on Kris :snoop:

Maybe mufukkaz just think Jay is better :manny:

Same way everyone you listed thinks nothing of K Rino :manny:

Lmao. Your hilarious lol. No you idiot, numerous people SAID they weren't up on him. And lol, doesn't make any sense, Scarface who I posted rates K Rino as one of the greatest MC's ever, DJ Premier rates him very highly, and put his song Antagonistic Radio as one of his top songs of the year, but keep proving without doubt you are full of shyt though lol.

Yeah I know where your coming from, but a lot of people do read these forums who don't post so maybe some will open up their mind a bit. Especially watching certain clowns in here get obliterated lol. Exactly that's what I been saying, their knowledge is probably from the 50 Cent film of 9mm but your talking about an artist that has over 20 albums. They don't have any knowledge to talk about it, people who have really heard both and like Jay better I can respect as an opinion though would disagree, but the blind stan shyt is wack. And it's not what Hip Hop is about, it's not a dikksucking and hating competition or WWE where you pick your fan favourite and boo the heel, it's about skills and music. Therefore KRS wins. Battling KRS, shows KRS, Mic presence KRS, originality KRS. I even give KRS flow. Though Jay has a dope flow too, and sometimes I guess can have a better smooth slick laid back type flow, KRS has obviously the better hyped flows.
