Yea y’all nggas are worse off than I thought.

I purposely kept the OP nuetral but ….the hell are y’all even listening to?!?!! :laff:

I tell this to my homies who hate LeBron…..don’t let your emotion rob you of your credibility :umad: That’s an iconic jay verse vs a mailed in snooze fest Nas verse. And that’s ok! Jay has mailed in verses. It’s not an indictment on their entire career. You can chose Jay for ONE SONG and still be in allegiance overall to Nas. Geezus.

i was neutral :yeshrug:
i'll never play any of these songs again

As a beat switch aficionado (I got a beat switch playlist somewhere with literally hundreds of beats on it) I actually agree with this. I thought in this case it sounded kind of jarring.

Yeah I've got no problem with beat switches in general. Like you said this one was jarring, I wanted to hear Clipse and Nas on the same beat and see who came the hardest, this wasn't it and the beat Nas was on was worse than the first beat.

I always felt the same with the beat switch in Benjamins, Benjamin is an all time GOAT beat and Big didn't even get to flow on it.

:gladbron: Whaaat the Jackson 5 flip makes the whole song for me…I always thought that was the illest “I’m that niggga” moment for Big, posse cut with everyone going in…everyone waiting for your verse…then it switch to some ole fly shyt for you to spit over…i always said if I was ever a rapper that would be one of my milestones to get a joint off like that…and always wanted to see somebody recreate it…then someone did and it was so wack and uneventful I can’t even remember the song…think was Juelz on some latter day dipset remix

I do love the second Benjamin’s beat too. A lot. But you’re right it’s not as door as the first one. First one is goat level. That being said, big on that second beat > Nas on this second beat. At least for me

It definitely made it feel like Big was the final boss to finish you off

Yeah Big styled all over that shyt so I ain't mad at that take. I would have just loved to hear him rock over the first beat.
