Was it the verse guest verse of the year like some people were hyping it last year when the record was being played for folks? hell no. And it probably wont even be the best Nas guest verse this year (The Slick Rick one is better and Im hearing he went off on Rae's album according to Lowkey on twitter)

But lets not act like it was wack either. As far as it being off topic, its is a different record that he added to the joint the Clipse are on. Theres probably a reason and thinking to it (Celebation of achievement or some shyt) but I think it would have worked as just an interlude of Nas getting bars off as a guest which we've seen rappers do before.

Jay by a country mile and I love Nas. Between the beat change and the subject matter it was just good and not mind blowing. Wish he came in on that Triple Beam Dreams energy.

I will say that at this point I'd love to see Jay hop on a Clipse track just to see him and Malice spar. Gonna be a tough day in the office.
