So aside from cheating on his wife and his mom being gay there was nothing he talked about on this album that he hasn’t covered before(Racism, entrepreneurship, family, hustling etc)

And the Producer that helmed the album is a guy he used 15 years prior.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Jay stans on this very board said they never thought about investing or finances until he gave them a million dollars worth of game for $9.99 on 4:44 :yeshrug:

And 99% of his peers from that era washed out or haven’t had a song or verse people cared about in ages :dead:

Why would Big be different?

Jay is anomaly breh

Go find me a lyrically respected rapper whose first two albums were multi platinum commercial and critical successes with a star understudy who magically fell off. :russ:

A classic with zero classic rap songs verses or lines?
Rare
Nas is Good
The Pressure

Nas said it best and it made me think of Jay:

Now y'all woke, I'm laughing at nikkas
Y'all used to say, "Nas talking that anti-establishment business"
Look at my settlement cases, gave they asses some stitches

Nas did everything on that album Jay has been trying to do as a "grown businessman" but better.

I took Jigga man serious on Black Album when he rapped: "What more can I say? You heard it all"

Lol don’t believe it
As a young Millennial I absolutely believe it.
You’re 100% right

Just checked myself

Run this town, Empire State of mind, and forever young carried BP3

Same Way that Justin Timberlake song carried Magna Carta

Those albums are not or will ever be good
You're your own person. You don't speak for all 90s born people.
