When he comes back, he got comeback player of the year on lock. Dude gonna be so motivated to get back.

Damn shame. Found out how to win, and was ready to defend the title, then this happens.

Interested in seeing how different the team is when he makes it back.
This sucks but if he returns back to form the injury sadly may give him that boost that’s been allusive

I can see fans gravitating toward him

I gotta expect that he can make a full recovery. He's younger than some recent guys, and Durant came back still great---->but Durant was never the pre-Achilles level Durant, after the injury...

So my expectation is that Tatum returns and is able to be 80% of his pre-injury self. When he gets back, he'll be likely into his age 29, Year 10 season, after missing an entire year of organized basketball. I feel like it'd be unrealistic to expect him to be full Tatum again. Bomani Jones just said he thinks Tatum will be Rose, which to me is a worst-case scenario, Rose was never more than 50% of himself after 2012...

As for the Celtics, time to rip this mf down to the studs. You're not winning another title without Tatum, so keeping this roster as is, does NOBODY any favors. Not you as an organization, not the players on roster. Time to rip it up and prepare for his return in the '27 season...
