You feel, if he had been drafted to the Kings, or Orlando, or some other subpar franchise, he wouldn't be as good?
Yes.
Brad Stevens makes everyone outside Kyrie look better than they are.
Same way Spurs would make role players look like starters then some franchise would offer said players a bag thinking they'd get that kind of production.
And even Stevens didn’t think Tatum would be this good, this early.
“Initially, I thought, you know, he would be very good,” Stevens said Tuesday on ESPN’s “Golic and Wingo.” “We thought that he would be able to score, you know, off of actions and insert matchups isolation-wise, early on in the league, and that he would just get better over time with continued hard work on and off the court. And I think where he exceeded my expectations was, is that he probably does that more consistently than I even imagined. “And then defensively, it’s probably not close to what I expected, just because he’s 19,” Stevens added. “Obviously, he’s had tremendous coaching in his career, going to Duke and in high school. But it’s just such a change, it’s just such a different game in the NBA. And for him to be able to impact the game defensively with his length, his instincts — and now, as all the hard work he’s put in on his techniques — you know it’s been really, really impressive. “When we started the year, I would have guessed that he’s probably coming off the bench and playing a very significant role for us there, maybe 20 to 25 minutes a game. I never would have guessed that he’s going to be one of our team leaders in minutes and start every game.”

Yall view him as some future #1 option but those guys are in the 30-50 range.
Not very noteworthy as a passer either and actually quite subpar so I don't know how yall think you'll run an offense through him going forward.

You clearly didn't watch any of the games in the playoffs then if you're gonna post this shyt.
Who cares what the stats say. Everyone that was watching the playoffs saw that when the Celtics needed a big basket late in games, they would give the ball to Jayson Tatum in isolation and he would go to work. To try and suggest Tatum can't create his own shot is the height of stupidity.
I know you didn't think he would be good coming out of the draft but just count your losses right now and just move on. This kid is not the product of any system. For the Celtics in the playoffs this year, he was the system. All Boston did was give him the ball and get the hell out of the way.
