When jay tries, he's perfectly capable of killing shyt....dude is ONE YEAR younger than big daddy kane, put that in perspective for a second....what rapper in his age bracket is able to keep himself relevant and constantly adapt? He's the GOAT, best catalogue in rap PERIOD. As a rap fan who's approaching 30, i will ALWAYS check for jay (throw nas in there as well), bc i'm not some drugged up teenager trying to turn up in the nightclub...i actually wanna hear an older perspective sometimes, i can't relate to these millennial retards...i hope i get at least one more hov album....if ppl like bruce springsteen can put out albums well into their 60's, why can't jay do it at damn near 50? The biggest limitation on rap artists is the age-ism that exists, its fukkin retarded
