He Can't Go out with the bad taste of Magna Carta Holy Fail lingering...

Jay still has heat left in him. Just give us Vol.4 and ride off into the sunset... Just one more...
Magna Carta had flashes, but it was filled with too many song concepts ruined by him not trying or because he had done it better before.

I honestly think he has nothing left to rap about unless he goes left field and makes an album about navigating through the corporate world as a black man on some out of left field shyt. An album about being new black/rich. And honestly, he's kind of done that. There's nothing left for Jay to rap about.

Timbaland is known for saying crazy stuff.

Does JayZ care about grinding all-night in a studio like he did 20 years ago? Maybe not. He might go months without going to a studio at this point.

But he's still a rapper. He's a musician and raps are probably always in his head.

He's just not dependent on it anymore.

I am not the type that believes Genius just up and vanishes. Therefore I don't think that Jay-Z, one of the best lyricists of ALL time can hide behind the excuse of "nothing left" to rap about. I think that the bolded would be an excellent move for him. Yes, he did attempt to do it a little on Kingdom Come and stumbled, but he could learn from that and put together a pretty epic conceptual album with that theme.

I'll never believe that he's lost the capability to make dope albums, he's too talented for that. I DO think that he might've lost the "itch", which is a shame because I use to love looking forward to a new Jay-Z album

I think most of the OGs have nothing left to rap about. I don't think Nas does either, but he's just trying harder and still has the itch. Jay honestly does not care anymore, and it shows. Because he only raps for real on songs with Jay Elec, Jeey and Ross for whatever reason.
