What? Him and Jay squashed shyt a minute ago. If I recall he had some kind of label deal or no-show job as well.

nah. optics. yeah they dont have beef, but "hooked up" is taken far out of context. they did a photo together backstage at a Chicago show if I remember correctly. I think No-ID hooked it up. the photo flooded the internet and according to Jaz they had a brief conversation. subsequently, Jaz got a distro deal with EQ Distro (Jay told him holla at his people) which at the time was a distro label under the Roc Nation umbrella which let speculation that Jay signed Jaz, which he did not. of course Jaz played it up and posted pictures of him at Roc Nation office but he only had a distro deal through a subsidiary. Jaz released "The Warm Up" EP (pretty solid) but never released anything else and about a year later he moved to Rival Distribution, from which he still hasnt released anything. Roc Nation Records and EQ Distro merged about a year ago. Griselda has more claim to signing to Eminem than Jaz does to Jay because they released projects under a label that at least Em was more directly involved in. As far as the no-show job, I dont know about that, so cant speak on it.

why is jaz-o legendary? just because he used to rap back in the day doesnt mean that shyt was ever good

i cant name a single jaz track i enjoy. or even one i liked where hes a guest.

people only care about jaz because he let jay wear his chains in like 1989 or whatever when he was teaching him how to rap like the fu schnickens

jay has always been a poseur

Breh, Jaz-O put out some fukking HEAT in the 2000s.

He's incredibly slept on. Jaz is nice as hell on the mic, don't sleep. Gonna be interesting to hear him and Bleek talk about the beef. He flame roasted them n*ggas in his diss tracks, and Bleek caught the worst of it.

yes, he is slept on. its good to see him and Bleek chop it up and I wonder if they will speak on the diss songs. this interview should be a reminder that no matter what side someone is on, we all have to eat and be our own men at the end of the day.
