This, I don't agree with. You don't trade a player like Jaylin Williams. He can score and is all defense. Players better than that aren't readily available and can also play with SGA.
Even though that's a realistic possibility, I just think it would be a shame because this group has really built something special and he's one of the main reasons for that.
One of the smartest dudes in the league that every franchise should build with/around.
And that's cool if you believe that, but I bumped this thread as my contention was with all the posts that were shytting on him because he didn't score x-amount of points when OKC was losing (in the game thread), and then resorting to saying he should be traded off the stength of them. They were treating him as if he was some bum.
I get that those overreactions are going to happen when a team loses, but those same posters didn't give him any credit when he rose to the occassion in Game 7.
You can be critical of his play (like finishing at the rim) without going overboard with it.

Biggest test for him now - can he help Shai close the deal? He’s risen to the occasion when called upon every single step of the way.
You might have to give @Primetime his dues on that one. Jdub’s definitely been playing at JB’s level and that is really an apt player arc comparison for him too.

His ceiling is the roof.
People were wondering as recently as 2-3 weeks ago could he be the second best player on a championship team. I think he will be and he’s not even at his peak yet.

Dude is a proven defender and doesn't need the ball in his hands to affect a game and while he'll never be an 'elite' scorer he doesn't need to be.
