nas killed the shyt BUT I agree not only the beat is trash but it don't fit nas style at all.

I'm convinced that some are so brainwashed from the overstated cliche statement "Nas has no ear for beats" that they are programmed to hate on anything he raps on that does not have a "jazz" sound leading to the automatic claim that he is "off beat".

Nas killled this lyric wise. Can't get jiggy to this beat though.
When it comes to beats of this type, it's a 6/10. Not trash, has an interesting sound in there, but not great either. Groove is trash.
Nas doesn't sound good on it because his voice doesn't fit the beat. That slow-flow shyt will kill NY rappers every time. If there was more of a groove maybe Nas could have rode it better
