:whew: dude made that music to work on abs, flip pies, flip burgers, and just get up get out and get something.

It's not even the drug raps, dude just has this unique cadence on the mic like a general telling soldiers to fight.

Sure his rhymes were elementary, but his mic presence and persona makes you look over his basic shyt. Hence why I can go back and listen to TM101 top to bottom because the energy aged like the finest of wines.

Yea it's perfect music to work out to. How can anybody not get hype to this?

There’s nothing wrong with elementary raps. Tupac raps were pretty elementary too and he arguably the GOAT. Not every bar needs to be some extreme double entendre. Cacs just don’t understand that when it comes to hip hop
Not really. That's a misconception because of his style of delivery.

In reality, Pac used just as many multi-syllabic rhymes as Jay-Z and Biggie. And I can prove it.

trap or die is his best work.

:mjtf:
Recession is right there breh, and he was better at rapping by that point, had the foresight to combine politics with the trap shyt at the perfect time, My President is Black coming out before Obama even won was a top rap moment, similar to Kendricks Alright coming out and being the theme song during civil unrest

Lightning in a bottle that most artists will never experience in their careers

And that shyt aged beautifully :banderas:

Few people can paint pictures, with fantastic comedy, like Jeezy. First verse on his first big single is a short exchange of him arguing with an unsatisfied dealer trying switch out the re-up for being low quality. Who the fukk does that :mjlol:
AND telling him to bring MORE money cuz he was short the first time :russ:

I wouldn't eem know :hubie: I ain't had to open up a whole thang since 94!

We'en trippin, we'll swap it out! :manny:

Jeezy fell off when he tried to be more lyrical...

He should have stuck to witty ad-libbing and being a street preacher.

ANYWAYS, salute to Jeezy for getting married and changing his life around.

Jeezy went from sleeping with the roaches and eating Cold Cuts from Subway to sleeping under Satin sheets with Jeannie Mai.

yea it's weird because once he did become a better lyricist, he lost that "it" factor he had. Didn't the surgery mess his voice up a bit too?
