I mean, it’s definitely the Straight From the Dec flow … I’m almost certain that’s what Jeezy is drawing from, even if it was like subconsciously….but also, so the fukk what :heh:…nikkas flows get flipped every day, B…feel honored and mention it when you run into Jeezy one of these days…but because every thing has to be “content” now a days he had to dress up like a deer hunter and record a sitcom length video bout the shyt
'Deer Hunter':mjlol:. Fork lift driving deer hunter.

I agree with you 100%, but the older, the more the flow jacking is an issue and they take offence, and Ghetto Mafia go back to like '93.

*Tbh it's a misunderstanding. Jeezy paying ode, he knew the significance of the original/flow and wanted to pay homage on a new joint, just didn't pull it off very well.

Don’t know the originator of that flow but mad dudes done this

get your roll on by big tymers

This is like the default flow for tracks in 3/4 time.

Nah ya’ll are just calling any old slow flow the “Ghetto Mafia” flow🤦🏾‍♂️. It’s very unique and not often done.

The Ghetto Mafia Flow is more choppy and conversational in tone almost like a preacher. And the fact Jeezy did it on a old soul beat seals it.

Its very distinctly Ghetto Mafia’s flow but I immediately took it as homage. Wicked seems to feel Jeezy should have reached out to him to let him know first but rappers have always paid homage to other rappers before them. Ultimately seems like there’s deeper feelings Wicked has that got him lashing out.

Dudes are so touchy. Obviously Jeezy was paying homage, cause he is definitely of the age that he was jammin' Ghetto Mafia back in the day. But what was he supposed to do? Call dude to ask permission? If a NY rapper dropped a track doing the diggidy iggidy Das EFX style, everyone would know it's a tribute to Das EFX, there's no mistaking that style. Would the NY rapper have to have gotten Das EFX blessing or could they just run with it, knowing real heads would know what they was doing?

I see both sides of the argument, but it's a reach. I suppose Jeezy could've said "I'm on my Ghetto Mafia shyt on this one, let's gooo" before the verse starts and maybe that would've made everyone happy and it wouldn't have hurt Jeezy to say that. But I don't think it was a requirement or anything.

It's kinda like the whole "Migos flow" thing... where nerds were saying they stole their flow from Lord Infamous and fukkin Freestyle Fellowship LOL. But then, after Migos became popular, other rappers were borrowing the "Migos flow" too.. it was kinda just a vibe for a moment.
