Never really thought about it but yeah.. That lets get it shyt was all him, now everybody says it...lessgeddit.

Solid career, never quit fell off but never ran the game either.. had some classic records and never really had no black eyes against him.. wasn’t extremely lyrical but has substance.Top 150 rapper. Maybe 130 or something.
He's one of the best to ever do it

Almost 20 years in the game. great career, Southern/Rap legend, had hand in whats modern day trap sound.

3 solid Album run with a classic.

And till this day I haven’t heard a album that had a impact on the hoods & strip clubs of America as TM101.

Hopefully for this we get

Shawty Redd/D.Rich
DJ Toomp
Midnight Blacc
Zaytoven
Southside

A gucci, bankroll, or 21 feature would b live to

wow, can't believe it.

First time in my life where I'm experiencing a favorite artist of mine retiring.

Young Jeezy was my favorite rapper coming up.

His music used to motivate the hell out of me, especially his first joint, got me through tough times.

Its a good thing that he's retiring though because his music has been falling off.

He peaked with The Recession (which is one of my two favorite rap albums of all time) and his music had been declining since then.

Anyways, dude got a great catalogue. His music is very underrated.

From first appearance, you might have been inclined to dismiss him as just a average ignorant rapper from the south,

but dude consistently created high quality music.

Definitely will go down as a southern legend.

I gave that last album he dropped a listen and I just couldnt get into it. It sounded like he was sleeping waking through the entire album.

Jeezy is a legend and has one of the GOAT commanding voices in rap period. I think partially the reason why he's retiring is because he's not as popular as he was in the 00's and doesnt have that fire in him anymore.

The crazy hype he had right before Tm101 and him delivering dropping a Classic is one of my favorite memories as a teen.

Trap Or Die 2 and Trappin Aint Dead was his last great projects. Tm 103 was alright but wasnt as good as the first 2.

Trap Or Die 3 was disappointing.

Yeah its time to hang it up.

yeah I agree

when I say he peaked with the recession, that dont mean everything after that was wack

its just that in my opinion, the recession was the supreme pinacle

I think Seen It All was when you could tell he was officially falling off although that shyt wasn't bad

Hell, Holy Ghost might be my single most favorite Jeezy song....shyt is a classic

:ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:

On a side note, his hook game is very underrated...he makes some dope ass hooks
