yeah I agree

when I say he peaked with the recession, that dont mean everything after that was wack

its just that in my opinion, the recession was the supreme pinacle

I think Seen It All was when you could tell he was officially falling off although that shyt wasn't bad

Hell, Holy Ghost might be my single most favorite Jeezy song....shyt is a classic

:ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:

On a side note, his hook game is very underrated...he makes some dope ass hooks

Yea I agree the recession was his peak. I still remember when it dropped. Just in time for obama:obama:

The Recession :wow:

I remembered when Jeezy at one point had this video had a WORLD PREMIERE on the ABC Network during Obama's Inauguration. :wow:

Not BET, Not Worldstar, NOT even MTV

On ABC when Obama got inaugurated back in 2009.

To me, when a rapper reaches that level and does something of a historic value, that alone means he done had more impact to the Trap subgenre than anyone cares to admit. You will never see Gucci do something like that symbolically during his run.

If he truly retires, the Trap game better recognize the originator of mainstream trap music.

Yup that song was 5/5, he still has it in him to make this level of music in my opinion but he seems to want to conform to the street anthems and trap beats since that's what's popular and that's what he came in doing even though it sounds uninspired at this point.

Nah they both had a big hand in making trap music what it is today.:smugdraper:

Better to know when to bow out then to continue to push out mid grain.:ehh:

Right Gucci? RIGHT. Oh new mixtape Gucci? Ok. :rudy:
gucci's only album that didn't sound like the rest of his shyt was his first album. He had the trap mixtape scene on lock tho a long with OJ in the mid 2000's though.:win:
