Neither one of them nikkas music making a impact like that but Gucci been more relevant than young since being released and his label will always be considered more successful then Young's. U made that first post like u was saying some good shyt

Ironically, Jeezy is actually being sampled more currently, including the yungins

And that’s without Bellygang Kushington. It’s becoming less popular to be the Gucci-style crashout and more popular to be on some “get money” hustle motivation like Jeezy.

Gucci has really messed up his rep with the youngins with the whole 1017 saga of all them them having bad outcomes. Then him dropping everybody but signing nobody else.

Gucci burnt his bridge with the yungins while Jeezy strengthened his with the older and more mature crowd via nostalgia and proper presentation. Everyone still talking about the Jeezy TM101 concert that was this past weekend

He can pick talent but he has never successfully developed any artist. Even back in the So Icy days it was Deb Antney who did the actual developing because Gucci was in jail all the time. He has failed with a label on his own.

Shiesty has his own motion prior to Gucci so he didn’t really have to market him heavy at all.

The impact isn’t there at all on any of his music the last 10 years. Nobody wants to hear post-jail Gucci.

And he’s living the best life while NONE of his artists have a successful or even decent ending. NOT ONE.

If anything he helped fuel their vices to crash out on an even bigger scale.

This just came out today and is why Gucci is even worse than culture vultures like Lyor Cohen. At least they keep it real that it’s all about the money. They don’t claim the artists as “family.”

He could easily mandate counseling and rehab, but instead he did nothing. It’s predatory. Deal with these same type of youth on a daily basis and you’ll 🤦🏾‍♂️ at her like majority of the comments.

We not doing this.
I can post just as many young cats sampling Gucci as you can with Jeezy. Your argument went from Gucci can’t develop talent (which is a lie) to Jeezy is being sampled more :dead:

Gucci has been wayyyy more successful in bringing in new talent to the game & it ain’t even close.

Nobody signed to Jeezy ever did shyt & I fukks with snow. A nikka I graduated HS with was signed to Jeezy round 09-12 & that nikka is a cable man now.

Deb ain’t develop shyt. Gucci was in the trenches all around Atlanta with them young nikkas before they were known nationally (Thug, PeeWee, Migos, Bankroll Fresh) & even dudes who came way after him & never worked with him like 21, Nudy & Pablo Juan say Gucci inspired them by being the one from their hood who made it and kept coming back

Gucci is still a legend with the youngins….

Half them nikkas wasn’t worth listening to Except for Foo and Pooh. Even Wooh Da Kid had better songs than these new 1017 artists.
Nikka let folks With no strings attached. Id be happy that I wasn’t in a 360 deal.

With that being said, it’s not Gucci’s fault that those guys didn’t take advantage of the opportunity.

Even with Jeezy, you’re still gonna have cats thinking that they deserved More

Jeezy looking funny in the light….

He kinda did Blood Raw foul and he was the main one putting in some effort. Slick kept getting locked up and he was the MVP on those Jeezy/DJ Drama tapes.

Even bum ass Frenchie got to release some mixtapes

OJ had a album out(although 97% of The Otha Side Of The Trap was released on mad mixtapes)

Boo Rossini was good.

What happened to him??
