One of the things I loved on Jeezy tape is him flipping Ghetto Mafia on “Whole Town”. “Straight from the Dec” is one of if not the first down south joints I ever loved. I took it as homage but Wicked from Ghetto Mafia feels disrespected …

That’s how I felt as well, I was completely thrown off by the first track and gradually figured out “ok, he’s in his Sunday funday cookout bag on purpose” lmao. It’s a total departure from what we normally hear from him, but I mess with it.

Nah. This ain’t it. Jeezy is not the person to even attempt to pull this off. It’s like a very very bad imitation of the Soul Tape series and he’s so offbeat that it isn’t even funny.

And if you think this is good, yeah I will never value your musical opinion.

A Payroll Giovanni type album is definitely more of what he should have done if he wanted to sound “mature but street,” because this is absolute
