Again, nobody was talking about starfield. Starfield being talked about in terms of it getting a PS5 port was literally something people have been speculating ever since rumors came out, none of the rumors talked about above were bullshyt. An acclaimed Xbox exclusive came to other platforms(Hi-Fi Rush).
All the noise came about when rumors mentioned 4 games are coming to Playstation and people were like w/e they're going to put everything and once again who do you know came to defense for no reason trying to mock people saying that Microsoft is officially moving away from console exclusivity. Forza Horizon, Indiana Jones, Hellblade 2 and Gears of fukking War if you can count are way past "only 4 games." You guys really believed that's what was happening. People didn't know what games were coming but that 4 was coming and nobody was quoting no "cac tweet" about imminent releases.

M$ is finding a way to be successful
AND
They stumbled upon this path because they couldn't beat Sony or Nintendo in the console wars.
Let's not kid ourselves. They wanted to push the most console units...and that was their original goal. They DID NOT switch up just because. They changed course because they were losing badly.
However, they got enough money and smart people to redirect and find a lane that works for them.
