The unspoken undercurrent of the whole thing is that he's basically saying the Trump administration shouldn't be investigated for crimes.


I'm not too worried about Mueller - he's far too smart for Trump to outflank him. I suspect he has his ducks already lined up for the most part and can pass off cases to other attorney generals if need be. And I think the House can get whatever they need from him too when the come back into power.
