1. This doesn't mean much to the Mueller investigation...the dems can move that entire investigation to the house under whatever committee they want and it just keeps going...it is only an "independent investigation" because the dems want to make i t look like it's bipartisan and both people are pushing for it...

2. Not really sure why people care about impeachment or not after those Nixon indictment drafts were released last week...that shows there were going to indict nixon WHILE HE WAS STILL PRESIDENT. So now Dems have a real life document that sets a precedent for indicting a president even though he is still the president...

Question: Will having a new AG give trump information about the investigation? Like a set and eyes and ears that he didn't have with sessions.

I'm thinking he does not want to fire Mueller at the moment but have a heads up what's coming down the pipe.

The Dems can't do anything until they actually get in power next year. And Trump just appointed a Supreme Court Justice that said a sitting president can't be indicted.

When they get there is irrelevant. The rules are the same. Not sure why people think stopping the investigation now is going to somehow...stop it. Indictments have been handed out...documents have been sealed...deals have been cut...we are just now hearing about stuff that happened months ago...at this point I would say the investigation is actually pretty much over.

It's got to go to the Supreme Court first...and since it is an actual written document that shows that it already happened in the Nixon case, more likely than not precedent is going to win.

Here is a question...say they decide to impeach trump...how would that even get to the supreme court?

Here is a question...say they decided to indict and just flat out arrest Trump without impeaching him, how would that get to the supreme court?

When you say they decide to arrest Trump, who is they? The DOJ, under Trump rule? And who cares about impeachment if the senate won't vote to remove.
