I didn't hate Durant pre GS and I didn't hate GS pre Durant

But it's just so hard to respect that move

Sure they still have to play the games and Durant did his thing in the finals

But it's still kinda like.....so what...of course they won and of course he went off

It reminded me when the Yankees won 114 games THAN traded for Clemens it was like why even watch baseball anymore and of course they won two more titles

It's just hard to give him his due
The Yankees traded a lot for Clemens, they obviously got worse the following year AND Clemens didn't even pitch that well that season.

Durant led Golden State to a ring.

He joined a 73 win team after blowing a 3-1 lead to them in his prime ........thats his legacy bro.

but the casual fan & sheep-minded fans have already forgotten that.

and the history books are unfortunately gonna gloss over it as well.

You mean how great kyrie is, nikka.

Kyrie won the title. Bron was just there contributing.

Art Barr

then explain why the cavs always look like trash whenever LeBron sits.

and that's not gonna happen this year with Isaiah in kyrie's place.

A 73 win team that didn't win a championship. Detractors conveniently love to leave that out.

but they won it a year before.
and would've won it that year too, if they didn't give away that 3-1 lead.

not to mention, Durant's team lost a 3-1 lead to the warriors just weeks before he joined them.

bad look all-around.

:why:no one gonna be mad at those dudes trying to make the most money to provide for their families.

We talking about nikkas who make ten times the amount of those finance teams or any example you can think of by just scoring 15 points a game.

The only thing we ask for is some competition and for these guys to strive to beat the best to prove they are the best.

How dare people be disappointed in a player whos considered top three in the league join a team who beat him n won the championship recently right?
NBA fans don't want competition. We wanna be lied to and pretend more teams have a chance. A lot of people wanted KD to either stay in OKC or go to Washington. Was he winning a ring in either situation? Hell no, but him not going there denied fans the opportunity to pretend.

not because they were not the better team though. I love Bron and there is no such thing as luck, but the Cavs were very fortunate to win that series. Its not like the Cavs were clearly the better team, they were even in terms of talent at very best and it was a close series at the end.

:hhh: lol the most dominant scorer joins the highest scoring/ most efficient team of all time... Theres no team in history that can beat this team
unless kd or steph gets hurt they gon keep winning

cavs need a dominant inside scorer down low
warriors vulnerable down low
I agree with the bolded, hence my screen name and avi :myman:

Basically KDs bytch ass move which was good for him personally to win championships murdered competition in the NBA...Had he say went to for example Washington or stayed in OKC the NBA as a product overall would be better but yes even me as a Cavs fan knows that the KD to the Warriors move broke the NBA....It's like when playing NBA 2K and Lebron signs with the Jazz just a game breaking move.
The West is the strongest it's been in 10 years now because of KD's move. Everybody is doing their best to compete with GS what are you talking about
