the trailer looks good, I tried looking it up, did this movie come out in 2018 and Netflix purchased the rights and is now re-releasing it?

There's also another movie called "Monsters and men" that has almost an identical cast (same kid actor, John David Washington, etc) that came out in 2018 and I was confused as all-fukk.
