I just read the article...its not that bad...she's kinda saying:

1. since black men aren't given the same presumption of innocence
2. that they tend to support people who they feel are wrongly accused
3. she mentions someone who was exonerated years later as a defense of this viewpoint
1. she could have written a piece with the same general premise not linking black men to Kavanaugh.

2. The only metric we’ve seen has 80% of black people being against the nomination. That number includes black men. Also by far the highest of any other racial group.

3 This ties with the general belief that black men ultimately want to be like white men, which is just simply false as people like Tommy Curry have explained in detail.

And since we want to use personal anecdotes... I just went to dinner with a sista who was saying “they don’t have real proof”.

I had to explain to her that it’s about a pattern of behavior among other things. She eventually agreed with me but according to Jemele I could write a piece showing how black women sympathize with Kavanaugh because they subconsciously want mixed children with “good” hair:lolbron:
