His opinion on cancel culture is facts tho. Anybody has the right to stop fukking with someone who says some shyt they don't fukk with.

To here these rich and (mostly White) dudes complain about being "canceled" is softer than the people "canceling"

Certain people want to be known as "edgy" but down have the nerve to deal with the blow back.

So if a bunch of people tried to get your shyt de-platformed and you speak on it, that makes you soft?

They have a right to blog, make YouTube videos, protest etc. and Dave has a right to roast them doing using his comedic platform.

Or is Dave just supposed to sit there and take all their shyt quietly and meekly?

Don't know if posted

Those jokes about slavery and Africa are harsher than anything Dave has ever said about the gays.

The sweet irony. This is what Dave has been saying since his return. It’s okay to make light of 400 years of the most extreme form of slavery known by man and the unspeakable evils of that institution, It’s okay to joke about a endemic that killed 10s of millions and ravaged a continent, it’s okay to single out a beloved sports hero struggling with an incurable disease, but you better not make fun of a white man wearing a dress demanding to be called a woman. That’s going too far.

The irony of all this .

First of all

Dave is my nikka and all.. But let's not have amnesia.. During his rise to power his skit show was in front of WHITE audiences and he legit made it ok for cacs to laugh AND REPEAT "nikka" sketches.. Not to mention having a CAC WRITER writing those skits. So let's not act like he's Malcolm X.. Stop ot fam

2ndly offensive jokes aren't the topic.. The topic is him making this a part of his legacy.. Fighting fags.

Chappelle show and his specials from that era are his legacy. It does suck that he wasted a bunch of specials on that bullshyt though. That last Netflix special was basura.

Your comprehension is off brother.

Dave has a right to to his opinion

People who don't want his message spread have a right to complain.

Both are practicing free speech.

What's soft is the people saying offensive shyt want to practice free speech but want the groups their going after "to just sit their and take all their shyt quietly and meekly"

I agree with a lot of Dave's opinions in his last few specials btw. But this whole counter movement against "cancel culture" rubs me the wrong way. The whole thing seems :mjpls: considering most people who are being canceled are racist White people. So it frustrates me to see so many Black folks take up the banner of a racist ajacent "movement.

Keep in mind Black Americans were some of the 1st people to practice "cancel culture" Everything MLK Jr. and other civil rights leaders did in the 60's could be considered "canceling"

"Cancel culture" is Black culture.

You made up a narrative in your mind. I’m okay with making offensive jokes. Carmichael is okay with making offensive jokes about Africa ms slavery, but acts like a bytch when it’s jokes about LGBT community.

I’m pointing out the obvious hypocrisy.

when i watched Carmichael's special i'm sure i remember him making some weird pedo jokes so he really doesn't have much room to talk about content. he's just lucky someone hasn't made a big deal about his jokes and that be what comes up when u google his name

Facts. Carmichael ain’t even funny. His last special was like watching a gay man’s therapy session.

Now if you wanna see some knee slapping trans humor, check out Ricky Gervais latest Netflix special. Dude went IN. But of course nobody cares cuz his name isn’t as big as Dave’s

did dave say anything malicious to trans or bully them
trans people and homosexuals need to stop acting like they control comedy, its one thing to be hateful but dave aint saying no hateful things
The funny thing is folks that are outraged by Dave’s jokes are in the minority. They’re just the loudest. Once they step outside their echo chamber they see nothing but support for Dave. I think that’s what really bothers them… that he can’t be cancelled.

I think the hill he’s dying on is standing up to cancel culture.
Cancel culture is a myth privileged cacs invented to avoid accountability for abuse so they can continue to be racist, mysoginist pigs :yeshrug: If Dave wants the fight against cancel culture to be his legacy, he's obviously hanging around with the wrong crowd :camby:

He's looking at it so simplistically, it's not about his opinion on trannies and it never was. If we looked at all that Dave Chapelle said it's clear he doesn't even have an overall negative opinion on them. It was about the right to make jokes/commentary on them freely without having to worry about the woke mob trying to muzzle you.

Now who's making up a narrative :mjlol:

That nikka ain't said a damn thing about having a problem.. He jjust pointed out what a lot of us were already thinking, dave is spending way too much time on this topic..

It was cute/ funny the first special.. This pointless "crusade against canceled culture (fags)"... But now its like can we move on please

Cut the shyt. Comedians have been making fun of dysfunction and poverty in black community for decades.

Y’all didn’t suggest they move on. But a few jokes about transgenders got y’all in arms.

My advice, Stop acting like a fakkit.
