First of all no one knows how hard that man had to work or the sacrifices he had to make in order to become a dentist. It's not like getting a job at Target. You have to work hard. You have to go to school. You don't just "walk" to become a dentist let alone make it to the very top of your field. Not every dentist has it like that where they got celebrities for neighbors. So obviously this guy worked his way to the top and attracted the right clientele either through hard work and dedication or by truly being one of the best at his trade... or both.

Second, he's a fukkin dentist. He has a very important job. People need dentists. So I don't see the need to downplay what he does for the sake of making a racially fueled joke. Oh he's just a yank your tooth out dentist?? Okay well then I guess that makes Chris Rock just a "tell jokes on stage" comedian. The nerve of a fukkin ENTERTAINER - the most overpaid profession there is - to cry foul that he had to "work harder" than the next man (white OR black) to get where he is or that he's somehow achieved more because he's famous.

Maybe Hov could make that joke cause he legit came from the bottom of the bottom and hustled his way to the top using his trade and his business acumen. I'm serious explain to me what I'm missing. If a hugely accomplished dentist is living amongst other hugely accomplished entertainers then what is the problem? Not every entertainer sees Chris Rock money just like I'm sure not every dentist sees the kinda money this guy is presumably making. Anyone who is the absolute best at what they do and has made it to the top of their field is gonna get guap.

So again please explain to me why Chris Rock's point is in any way valid.
