A few years ago, I used to crack up :mjlol: when I heard some is moving to Jersey city.

Back in the day almost every corner was a hood…..liquor stores everywhere, run down apartments, shoot outs :snoop:

But now….WTF!!! :ohhh:

Downtown jersey city is all polished up and looking :patrice:

Nice bars and restaurants everywhere :ohlawd:

Tech companies are moving in like crazy :salute:

Thought I’d check out apartments in downtown or near downtown :whew:

Studio apartments start at $2200 :sadbron:

One bedroom $2500 :deadmanny:

Almost every block there is a high rise office building or apartments coming up.

Damn. Y’all been around Jersey city of late? Jewish community ain’t playing

Not necessarily JC but I will be in the market for a spot next year. Rent is too high but I'm growing and need my own space and can afford it so it is what it is.
Yep...gonna keep spreading as well. Harrison is next
Next? Since when is Harrison an area that was eligible to experience gentrification? It was always a suburban town.

20 years ago a decision was made for honkeys to move to the city. First they wanted the sexy hip areas then everything else. Now they’ve gone across the river

I totally agree with this. Jersey city will be a HOT spot. If you can afford a house….might as well do it now.

It's been that. Between cost and density I'd never live there. A house is a ways down the road, I have the income but not the schedule/flexibility to manage going from the nest to maintaining a home.
