Where does this album rank for you guys?

I personally like this album more then "The Sun Rises in the East"..

Primo at his best, so many great tracks..

"The Frustrated N!gga"

"Whatever"

And one of the great overlooked diss records of the 90's

"One Day"

This album is one of my all time favourites. Love this record.. :lawd:

It got 4. They were late to award classic Gang Starr material and then tried to save face with moment of truth getting 4.5 when boom Bap was being phased out.

I remember the day this came out being extremely disappointed in it. Going back now i appreciate it much more and think it's a 4 mic album but it's not in the same galaxy as Sun Rises in the East. I don't want to knock it at all because l do really like the album. It's just a very minimalistic approach to the beats compared to the first album imo. Jeru did his thing though. I had no problems with him.
